Emma Ruth Rundle got an early start in the world of creativity as a third-generation Angeleno performer, a daughter and granddaughter of actors and musicians there. Rundle studied briefly at CalArts before dropping out to fully dedicate herself to touring and live performance. She is now a widely accomplished musician and visual artist. As a director she crafts beautiful and otherworldly films—bringing a unique female voice, and unusual background in the arts, to her vision and approach.
